Advantages of telephone coaching:
a) You can get a great coach for less money because the coach does not have to pay the overhead associated with an office, reception etc.
b) Saves you time (and money) because there is no travel time to/ from appointments and pay parking.
c) It is better for the environment- eliminates carbon emissions associated with traveling in a vehicle or public transit.
d) You probably will feel more comfortable in your own environment. This leads to a greater ability to relax and “be yourself” and to tap into your inner creativity and potential.
e) You have A LOT more coaches to chose from as you are not restricted to your geographic area.
Disadvantages of telephone coaching:
a) Perceived increase in risk. The client does not know if they can trust someone they haven’t met. If this is a concern of yours I can provide you with the contact information of some of my past clients or we can work on a payment schedule that you are comfortable with.
b) Coach cannot see body language, may miss out on some visual feedback from client. A skilled, experienced coach can pick up on their client’s tone of voice and “energy” over the phone. The best way to find out if coaching over the telephone will work for you is to try it. Most coaches, including myself, provide a complimentary coaching consultation that provides you with an opportunity to “try before you buy” before making your decision.
The bottom line is that there are pros and cons to each system and each person will have their own opinion or preference. My hopes are, whether you choose me or another coach, that you have a great experience and that you find success, love and happiness on your journey
Hi there. I just want to let you know that I am not much of a blogger so please do not misinterpret that lack of activity here to mean that the information on this website is not up to date. Cheers!

I will be teaching two new classes this fall at Hot ‘n Cool Yoga in Parksville, BC. On Tuesdays I will be teaching a “cool” yoga class, which I am quite excited about. I will be vibrating the yoga room at specific sound frequencies, which are designed to facilitate the movement of energy through the body. I have been experimenting with this on my own for a while now and I have found that my energy levels have increased dramatically and some aches and pains that I have been living with for several years have all but disappeared. Sound and yoga seem to be made for each other and, in my experience, have a synergistic effect where the two work together better than either one on its own.
The other class will be a sound based meditation class on Sunday mornings. Here again I will be using specific sound frequencies tuned to the various energy centers (chakras) of the body. On a physical level, the frequencies and your intention work together to activate and “tune” the chakras at a healthy vibratory rate. This, in turn, stimulates the nervous and circulatory systems to send the correct amount of blood to the surrounding tissues and organs so that they can repair and cleanse and balance themselves. On an emotional level, suppressed emotions and past trauma stay in the body until they have an opportunity to come out. Sometimes they come out in unhealthy ways such as addictions, insecurities, intimacy and anger issues, chronic pain and even disease. Sound is very effective at giving these emotions a healthy way to release themselves and could potentially leave you feeling like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders….but don’t take my word for it…try it out for yourself!
Quantum physics has proven what the yogis and sages have been saying for centuries…that everything is made of energy. Planets, objects, people, emotions, disease all have specific energy signatures or frequencies and all are constantly interacting with each other. If a person is predominantly surrounded by objects, emotions and people that affect their vibration in a positive manner that person will, most probably, also vibrate within a “healthy vibratory range” and experience good health, abundance and higher levels of consciousness. Conversely, there are many sources of negative energy in the world that can affect our vibratory rates and, if left unchecked, they can lead to feelings of disharmony and even disease. Some sources of negative energy in the world that one should be aware of are: electromagnetic fields from electronics/motors/appliances, radio/cell phone towers, certain foods and food additives like red meat, sugar, MSG and artificial sweeteners, alcohol, people who are always stressed, impatient or angry, anything that induces fear like bullies, television news, newspapers and some television programs and movies, florescent lighting, office environments without fresh air and live plants. There are many more…. especially if you live in a big city so it is vital to consciously manage your energy by seeking out positive energy sources and practices that balance and positively affect your energy.
If you are happy with your coaching experience….please tell others. Referrals are the lifeblood of all small businesses and are greatly appreciated!

Because change takes time I suggest at least a 3-month commitment to the coaching process. This allows the coaching relationship to develop and to be powerful, and when the going gets tough we stay in collaboration and work through to the other side.

For those of you who are in the “letting go” phase of your lives, here is an incredibly valuable free tool! Author Byron Katie has generously included some worksheet downloads on her website to help you isolate and free yourselves from the limiting beliefs you may have. Check out:
http://www.thework.com/resources.asp
Also, I have found that using other techniques, that I have learned, while doing “the work” can be very valuable. For example, while I was working on releasing beliefs I had about my body (from the free Judge Your Body worksheet I downloaded) , I had a pretty strong emotional response. Emotions, in themselves, won’t kill you but they sure are uncomfortable sometimes! I used EFT (emotional freedom technique- link below) to help process the intense emotions that came up while I was doing the work and I also found that using sound (solfeggio frequencies link also included) helped to move the energy through me and to remove it from my living space. Emotions, after all, are just forms of energy so it makes sense that things like sound and EFT (tapping on accupressure points) would help to move the energy through your system more quickly.

Facing your limiting beliefs takes a lot of courage and a willingness to go through some discomfort in order to find out what lies beyond. I can tell you from experience that it is totally worth it and, each time you leave one behind your world changes….usually in ways that you could not have imagined. Good luck and thank you for doing your part!

I have recently come across an amazing website that is dedicated to teaching people about the ancient science of Kabbalah. From what I understand, Kabbalah has been practiced for over 3000 years but has just been released back to the public in 1995 after 2000 years of secrecy.
Check out www.perceivingreality.com for free classes and insight into Kabbalah and how it can help you with your journey.
